An Imperial officer during the subjugation of Ralltiir and friend of stormtrooper TK-622. Akobi harbored great regret for the Imperial actions on Ralltiir, a fact he kept secret until after he was reassigned to the Death Star and suffered injuries from a Rebel saboteur. As he convalesced, he admitted his guilt to TK-622 moments before the Death Star exploded at the Battle of Yavin.
